The Club has a Senior Safeguarding Lead that provides clear direction
and addresses all aspects of safeguarding at all levels
All safeguarding concerns and issues relating to children, young people, and adults at risk should be reported via the Safeguarding Officer
Safeguard all children and young people who interact with the Club and its’ employees and volunteers.
As part of the Club’s recruitment and selection process, offers of work for
positions which involve ‘regulated activity’ when working with children
and young people are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring
Service (DBS) check and appropriate references.
Enable all children and young people to participate in an enjoyable and safe
environment.
All employees, workers, consultants, agency staff and volunteers engaged
in ‘regulated activity’ will be required to undergo regular DBS disclosure
clearances, normally every three years or earlier if requested.
